Current Projects
I am working on a translation project called Torres de arena / Towers of Sand with the poet José Ramón Sánchez Leyva of Guantánamo City, Cuba.
I am also editing a volume of poems called Juxtapositions with the poet Jane Alberdeston. Most of the poems in Juxtapositions are either about the Caribbean or by poets who live in the region.
I coordinate a bi-annual local event in conjunction with the larger global celebration known as 100,000 Poets for Change. It takes place in September and is sponsored by the Institute of Caribbean Studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
