Translation
I've known the poet José Ramón Sánchez Leyva of Guantánamo City, Cuba for almost 10 years and have collaborated with him on multiple projects. Recently I had the pleasure of translating a group of his new poems for the bilingual volume Torres de arena / Towers of Sand, which was published by Poinciana Paper Press in October of 2026.
